Stacey Bentley would win the first Zane Women’s Bodybuilding Championship ahead of Rachel McLish and Lynne Cartwright.
An interesting note is that Frank Zane provided a posing exhibition. Frank was remarkably cut and massive at 197 lbs just 3 months out from the 1980 Mr Olympia. Unfortunately, his defence of his title was hindered by a serious poolside injury.
